Surfing and snowboarding both have the common characteristic of that great fluid-turning motion and the two-wheeled in-line design of the Dirtsurfer truly mimics this motion. The patented steering geometry is initially stabilized by rider weight and further stabilized by the progressive gyroscopic stability instilled by increasing speed of the two in-line wheels. Speed wobbles are a thing of the past! Traditional three and four wheeled skateboards all must incorporate a chassis or truck system that must move independently from the deck. However, this is a real compromise because there is always an in-built disparity and design complication between the chassis and the deck. Surfboards and snowboards completely lean with and are at one with the rider. There is no secondary truck system.
